"Mokes" were to be launched in the 1990's as items for children to purchase in Newsagents , Toyshops etc as small collectibles which could be swapped and accumulated to form mini collections and also used to play card and board games ,
The vehicles used were all ex Lone Star Tuf Tot castings and were made in the UK by the Company which is now known as Oxford Diecast , Not all of the old Tuf Tot castings were used as some were not available (Dodge Dart , London Bus) and others were thought unsuitable (Caravan) , each "Moke" was packaged in an all card box with a tiny catalog showing all the vehicles available , 2 collector cards , and a small comic to read and colour in. This venture was not at all sucessful and the models were never put on general realease.
The Earth Mover features on the advertising literature and boxes , but only a few were actually produced before the vehicle was thought to be unsuitable and replaced by the Horse Box , a couple of pre-production Earth Movers are shown below with different wheels.

The original name for the series was to be "Jelly Babies " ! Shown below is the original Jelly Babies pre-production set , note the Jelly baby motif on each vehicle and the odd looking wheels .
