Various forms of packaging were used for the small vehicles , the most familiar and still found frequently at Toy shows is the transparent garage with opening door.
Each of the small garages contained a fold out leaflet showing the current vehicles in the range (and also the cyclists set) , a paper band was positioned around the box which prevented the garage door opening before the model was sold. The door of the garage was red or more normally grey).

Most of the vehicles were supplied in boxes of five (different colours) , the outer box was plain white cardboard with the model number stamped one one end of the box.

During the 1980's several sets of VW Vans appeared on the toyshow circuit in plain white boxes , each box contained 5 different loose vans , it is thought that these were discovered in a factory clearout.
Later the cars were supplied in all card boxed with an opening portion through which the vehicle could be viewed , the name and number of the contents were printed on the end flap , details of other items in the range appeared on the reverse of the box.

The larger vehicles came in all card boxes , some of which had a circular hole in one side so that the contents could be seen without opening the box.

There were also gift sets of vehicles which consisted of various different models enabling a street scene to be recreated.
