A promotional MB17 bus was given out at the 1990 Nuremburg Toy show to promote the Series :-

As the pictures from the 1980 Matchbox trade catalog (below) show , larger playsets were also available , some of these were found to contain normal Matchbox 1-75 models !

With the move of production to China and Thailand several new models appeared
Several 6 packs of models appeared over the life of the range , some were exclusives for certain stores , the pack which contained the Lincoln Town Car was the only source for this model.

Over in the USA with the stricter laws, 3 packs were issued with parts of the models which a child might snap off and swallow removed.
Note in the pictures below that the Utility truck is missing its booms and the Volvo lorry missing its canopy.

The last models produced had one colour hubs (possibly as an economy measure) , the Taxi with all red hubs is very hard to find as it was only available in an ARGOS gift set.
