On the 9th of September 1994, at approximately 1550 hrs, a container wagon (QCA 33077) left the rails while train 7F40 was shunting the Murarrie sidings. QCA 33077 was positioned at the lead of a string of wagons left on the Austral leg of Murarrie while DEL 2500D was shunting the adjacent Doboy leg. This string of wagons rolled towards the shunt causing QCA 33077 to collide with DEL 2500D.
